Need an exam: Bleeding after intercourse can be related to stopping contraception. For example, if you are not ovulating and having regular periods, the lining of the uterus can become very thick. Intercourse can make it start bleeding. Regular cycles will take care of the problem. Other causes are dysplasia ,infection and trauma. It would be good to see an Ob/Gyn and get an exam. Best wishes!
