Seborrheic dermatiti: Seborrheic dermatitis lies between dandruff & psoriasis. It appears as oily scales/flakes on a salmon-colored base on scalp margins, in ear canals & on lobes, along wings of nose, bridge of nose, eyelids, chin; so it's often assoc with hairy areas. Low potency steroid cream can help but if used frequently can damage skin. Washing areas dandruff shampoo with zinc (selsun blue) weekly works well.
