See below: Both of your medications can cause drowsiness and dizziness, but the amitryptiline has fairly potent anti-cholinergic side effects, and would be likely to be most responsible for side effects. However, the forehead issues may of sinus origin. Discuss a plan of sorting this out with your doctor.
