Consistency is key!: I recommend starting birth control pills on the first day of the week following the beginning of your next menstrual period. For example, if your menstrual bleeding started yesterday, you would start them today, tomorrow, or Monday (whichever day you consider the beginning of your week). Then you should take them EVERY day at the same time of day. This is so important! God bless!
