Weight pregnancy: Weight gain in pregnancy varies according to your BMI. If you are overweight or obese it is 10-20 pounds. You should never try to lose weight while pregnant. If you lose weight but eat a healthy diet and exercise and are overweight it can be ok. If you are worried, definitely eat healthy, exercise, and watch your weight. Good luck.

Depends: It depends on your starting weight. If you are normal weight, you should maintain or gain some weight. However, if you are overweight or obese, you can lose or maintain weight without detriment to the baby. Best wishes Dr M
