Sore throat : How long has this been going on? If it is recent, less than 7 days, than it is likely some type of irritation or viral infection. You can still have throat infections with your tonsils out. It can be one sided and maybe in time it will affect both sides. It could be postnasal drip irritating it. Lastly, if symptoms are longer than 7 days, see MD. May need antibiotics or look for other problems.
