Possibilities...: You may feel short of breath after eating due to gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). This reflux can lead to bronchospasm which, in turn, can result in shortness of breath. See your doctor since with treatment of the reflux, the shortness of breath will get better. You may need to see a stomach doctor for diagnosis and treatment but start with your family doctor who can refer you if needed. Good luck!
