Telogen effluvium : Telogen effluvium is one of the most common forms of nonscarring hair loss. It results from an alteration in follicular cycling that leads to the excessive shedding of telogen hairs. Manifests as a diffuse reduction in hair density. In most cases, the course is self-limited, with hair loss beginning two to three months after the inciting factor and reversing once the inciting factor resolves
