Not commonly, but: Women vary from each other and over time in PMS symptoms and from none, through mild, to very severe levels. Those are NOT directly common, but not impossible. PMS: I understand your distress. PMS can cause upper back pain. It can cause trouble focusing on tasks and Anxiety which can lead to shoulder ache and pain. Lack of Vitamin B6, Calcium, or Magnesium in the diet can increase chances of getting PMS.
