Make an appointment : Although birth control pills can protect you your from pregnancy, they do not protect you from sexually transmitted diseases. Bleeding after intercourse can be a sign of many things ranging from an infection to cervical cancer. I recommend seeing your physician for a sexually transmitted disease panel and Pap smear if you have not had one in the last year.
