What is it about: beer? It is carbonated, large volume and alcoholic. These are features likely to cause hiatal hernia and reflux to be the most triggered and this can cause pain in the shoulder blades cannot say in your particular case, but general info might be helpful. Lower volume, drinking over a longer period of time would help reflux but not the acid stimulation of alcohol.
