Very rare: It is rare to catch any infection from public toilets. The most frequent probably are common colds, flu, etc. Probably occasional viral gastrointestinal infections (diarrhea etc). STDs are never caught this way. Use common sense hygiene, which means wiping away obvious contamination before using the toilet (e.g. if there is possible urine on the seat) and wash hands (or use alcohol gel) after.
