Cause pain after sex: Some causes of pain and missed period include, cervical cysts and ovarian cysts. Another reason for the pain may be endometriosis, but usually there was some other symptoms in the absence of sex and pain may be more severe with menses. I recommend a pelvic exam to evaluate the cervix for polyps and blockage (stenosis) and identify specific location of pain to guide further tests.
