See answer: Strep F is Streptococcus anginosus. Strep F is a component of normal human bacterial flora and is found normally in the mouth,throat, sinuses,vagina and feces. It can cause infections, more often in immunocompromised or seriously ill patients. It is prone to cause abscesses, particularly the liver and brain. It normally doesn't cause tonsillitis(a strep throat)or pharyngitis.
