I have no thyroid and am getting a lot of hot flushes. is it more likely my thyroid levels or the menopause? i'm 45

Depends: I am assuming you have had your thyroid removed. If you are on thyroid replacement then you should get your thyroid levels checked to ensure your dose does not need to be adjusted. Talk to your doctor.
