Hormonal effect: Excessive facial or body hair growth in a female is called Hirsuitism. It is usually due to excess of male hormone which can be physiologic or on rare occasions due to a tumor in the adrenal gland. I would advise you to first consult your gynecologist who can help you take care of it both in terms of the cause as well as treatment. There are blood tests for checking hormone levels which may help.
