What is there?: At the level of the xyphoid process is the lower esophagus, upper stomach, mid-pancreas, transverse colon. Likely esophageal spasm due to fleeting nature. Could be "gas" in the top of the stomach or the transverse colon. Something medically important will last and last and tend to worsen over time. I would give this time and if persists, changes, worsens, seek care from primary doctor.
