Individual variation: Each person is different. Your cycle may not be a standard 28 days; it may be shorter that the average cycle. As long as it is a consistent length within the 3-5 week range, I would not be concerned. If your cycle becomes inconsistent and is varying more extremely in duration, intensity, or frequency you should see a local doctor to investigate for hormonal abnormalities.
