Unlikely pregnant: If you are taking your birth control pill at the same time every day you are unlikely to become pregnant. If you miss a dose, even by a few hours, it may increase your risk of pregnancy. In that case, a day-after pill such as Plan B will decrease the likelihood of pregnancy. A second method of contraception such as a condom will also decrease the likelihood of pregnancy in the future.
