How to remove foot odor?

Odor gel: You will need either a foot odor gel, or deodorant. The smell is caused by bacteria. Spraying deodorant between your toes after bathing will help

Treat cause!: Solution to any issue is to find cause of problem, in this case, foot odor. Typically feet smell badly b/c sweat allows bacteria & fungus to grow in moist damp places. So consider changing socks frequently & change to footwear that will allow you to air out your feet so they sweat less. Antifungal powders are available to both fight moisture & fungus (tinea pedis aka athlete's foot).

Smelly Feet: Smelly feet is caused by bacteria that thrive in cool, moist and dark areas. Feet in shoes and socks is a perfect area for bacteria to grow. Keeping the bacteria load down with the use of foot deodorant/antiperspirants that can you can purchase in the supermarket is key. Also changing socks and also spraying your shoes with Lysol a few times a week can also help.

Good hygiene,: daily washing with soap and water; keeping shoes, socks and feet dry; washing shoe inserts; using powder in shoes and on feet and using a natural essential oil based on your doctors recommendations!

Tannic acid: In addition to the great advices above, I'd like to add a simple step. As it was mentioned the bad smell comes from bacteria and they do love wet, dark environment. You can try foot soak in black tea bath. The black tea contains high level of tannic acid, which dries your skin on your foot thereby creating hostile environment for odor causing bacteria to survive.
