A member asked:

Does the fact that ive ate meat from hunted deer in the past put me at risk of developing a prion disease in the future?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No evidence: Prion disease is extremely rare to begin with. No case from hunted animals has ever been documented. And there are a lot of hunters out there bagging deer and other wild animals. Don't lose any sleep over this one.
