Emergency room: This may be a second degree burn in view of associated swelling(blistering) and as such is best evaluated and treated in the hospital emergency room where the burn can be properly assessed, dressed and appropriate follow-up instructions can be given. They may inquire as to when you had your last tetanus booster.
