Hard, dry poop: Constipation is caused by dry, hard stool which often becomes retained in the rectum & colon. Stay well hydrated (at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day). Eat 5 vegetable & 4 fruit servings per day – get that fiber in. Avoid junk carbohydrates. Stay physically active. You can also consider an otc laxative.
