SYNCOPE: Clinically speaking, there is no difference, because any loss of business without a viable explanation warrants a thorough evaluation by a physician.

Depends: Most "passing out" episodes are very short in duration. If longer, seizures or low blood sugars come to mind. Would suggest seeing your primary care doctor to try and figure out what is going on.
