I think i have a kidney stone but i have heard if you have one, there will be lots of back pain. how bad is the back pain from a kidney stone?

Often severe: Thereare many causes of back pain.Renal colic is when a stone is passing or moving in the kidney or ureter. The pain can be mild but it is often severe.Some women have noted it to be worse than the pain with childbirth.
