Hypothyroidism: Do you mean T3 (liothyronine)? TSH is Thyroid Stimulating Hormone. T3 (liothyronine) and T4 are the actual thyroid hormones. generally speaking, if the T3 (liothyronine) or T4 is low (low thyroid hormone aka hypothyroidism) then your TSH will go up to try to make more hormone, your levels are a little high and u may need medicine. your doc can clarify. "TSH III" may be the name of the panel that was ordered..
