Yes: Follow the instructions, and be prepared to put the kid to bed. As an alternative to delsym, (dextromethorphan) try warm lemon water with honey and humidifier.

No problem: I wouldn't mix them together to give them, that would be yucky. All three can be used at the same time during an illness.There are no medication incompatibilities. it may seem like a lot but it works.
