A member asked:

Mom has osteomylitis, spondylodiscitis after laminectomy, still crp flactuating, is it normal, she has severe pain despite of medicines ,what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

My sympathy: Mom has arachnoiditis that scars the spinal cord creating all sorts of painful adhesions. Mostly due to infection that was caught in time plus any untoward manipulation cord when the surgery was done. I cannot think of a worse situation. Tension relaxation, yoga or meditation, can help a little. Avoid spinal cord stimulators. Many complications and too short acting. Prayer.
