Usually needs fat: To satisfy most of us, meals need to contain at least some healthy fat and protein. Eating simply crackers or other carbohydrate snacks does not give the feeling of fullness we seek -- or if it does, it's quite temporary. Witness eating sugary treats, like cookies or candy. They may taste good going down, but you're hungry soon after.
