Iron deficiency: RDW likely high because some cells are normal size, and some are abnormal (probably small). The ferritin and TIBC suggests possible iron deficiency - a low MCV (not listed) with negative history of thalassemia would help clench it. Rarer causes could be copper deficiency, vitamin B6 deficiency, or heavy metal poisoning (lead).
