Specializes in Clinical Psychology

The Amygdala: is that part of brain that focuses on survival triggering such emotions as fear and anger. Rather than concentrating on neuro-anatomy, might be more practical to focus on the source of your anxiety. Anxiety disorders can be treated w/modalities such as psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis, relaxation training, etc. If a professional give you medication, please don't stop there. Peace & health.
