This sounds like: a sebaceous cyst or infected or inflamed hair follicle, the latter possibly from shaving. It also could be an enlarged lymph node. If it persists there, I would recommend that you have your doctor check it.

Folliculitis.: You might have had an infection in the hair follicle of sweat gland in the axilla. As long as it is not getting bigger and on its way to resolve nothing need to worry about. If keeps re occurring have it checked out
