Preventing UTI: Sex often triggers UTI in women. Diaphragm for contraception raises risk. Vaginal infection like bacterial vaginosis might inrease risk and could be treated. If no reversible cause, low dose antibiotic after session of sex, or every 3-7 days, whichever is more frequent. Best to see infection specialist to determine which antibiotic would work best and how frequently. Good luck!
