Support: There is no single way. You need to discuss this with your friend to see what she needs. It might be as simple as a ride or help with daily business that is to much. Sometimes it is someone to share and talk to.

You are a friend.: I agree with dr. Biermann. Just being someone who is safe & who listens well is a tremendous gift. Don't be surprised if your friend grieves more over loss of hair from chemotherapy then she did over the removal of her breast. Both are quite traumatic. Accepting your friend when she has a hard time accepting the changes in herself will benefit her. Take care.
