A member asked:

How are an occupational therapist and a physical therapist different?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many : Both are therapists (not physicians) that work to improve overall function in different ways. Occupational therapist work primarily to improve functional activities such as bathing or dressing. The physical therapists tent to treat physical problems affecting mobility (walking). There are many more differences and overlap between what they do (too long to detail here).
