Metallic taste: although it is possible for liver disease to cause a metallic taste in the mouth, it is not a very common or usual symptom of elevated liver tests. There are many other less serious possible reasons for that metallic taste, including medications, supplements, poor oral hygiene, and infection. You should see your primary care doctor for further evaluation. Good luck.
