GYN QUESTION: The majority of women will simply have their next period at the scheduled time; however some women may experience bleeding or other vaginal discharge. Generally speaking, if these symptoms last for more than 48 hours following Plan B you should follow up with your gynecologist. If bleeding, discharge, pain or other symptoms get worse, go to the emergency department.
