Certainly worth it!: Yes, whenever you have blood in your urine, you need to be evaluated. Spotting alone may only merit a phone call to the doc who inserted it, but blood in the urine is another story and needs to be assessed in person. If you have fever, abdominal pain, or dizziness, please call your doc or go to an UC or ER right away.
