Hi,i would like to know does absence generalized epilepsy causes psychosis.

Seizures are the...: Seizures are the result of abnormalities in the brain structure, imbalances in brain chemistry or electrical signals, etc... Seizures are not the cause of the brain problems, but rather the person's brain problems may be causing her seizures. That means true seizures and psychosis can both be due to some other brain problems, but true seizures and psychosis are not causing one another.
