Interesting!: I mean, it SOUNDS as if you are purring, but probably it is mucus in the throat that air is whistling by. However, it could also be wheezing, if you have never had it before and don't know what it feels/sounds like. If it is just a cold and you are not at all short of breath or having any pain, not to worry. But if either of the latter, you should be examined with a stethescope.
