Avulsed nail: The best suggestion for a partially avulsed nail is to leave it along - trim it so that the nail doesnt get caught on something and completely avulse. I would wash it in warm soapy water and rinse off. Pat dry the area and dress it with a bandaid to keep her from picking/playing with it. Check it daily and she should be fine. A small amount of antibiotic ointment may help over the area
