Not necessarily: Migraine accompaniments, which are aura type symptoms but without the subsequent headache are a known phenomenon in migraineurs. Generally, they are considered migraines and can be responsive to treatment. I would, however, recommend evaluation first to be sure these are migraine variants and not another ophthalmologic process.
