Hernia?: Those maneuvers increase your abdominal pressure and can exacerbate an abdominal hernia. Careful exam may show this otherwise an imaging test.

Hernia: Typically a hernia can cause those issues. I would see a general surgeon and ask them to examine you. It could also happen from a groin strain.
