A member asked:

Is there a cure for severe intellectual disability and for a missing chromosome.? i am curious i wanted to know

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No magic fix: When there is a chromosome missing, it is missing in every cell in the body, including brain cells. The material in the chromosomes contain the library full of information on how the body is supposed to work. When some of this library s lost, bad things happen, like intellectual disability and birth defects. There is no magic med, though many people promote special diets and cures. None work.
