Male 32. have been on 50mg androcur but see no reduction in sexual arousal and testerone. why?

Dose/Time: Cyproterone Acetate is not that commonly used in the US, but is a "partial anti androgen". Androcur 50mg is a starting dose and if it is may not be blocking enough enough of the central receptor to cause lowering of testosterone a this dose in you and if that is the case there will be no effect. It also has a long "1/2 life" and may take some time to work. This could be either dosing or time.

SEE DR: How long??? It may take a few weeks to get result. Many require 100mg and more. See the DR who initiated this therapy.
