Your age?: We need to know your age. Please put it in your public profile. Also, include your gender and location. Your age, gender and location can all influence the answer to your questions. With this question, age and location of the bullet are important, too. How long have you had it, where is it? It does not matter if it is a female or male bullet.

No: If you have been shot, you must see a physician immediately. A penetrating gunshot wound is a very serious matter and you could die if you do not go to the ER and get treatment from a physician. A bullet lodged inside the body may actually stop bleeding that would otherwise increase and you are not in a position to treat blood loss as a surgeon is. Do the right thing and visit the ER.

Not necessarly: Many bullets are left in place since it may deleterious to remove due to location. If your surgeon feel that it may cause trouble in the future he may want to remove it after you have recovered from the initial trauma (in a joint)

Interesting life you: seem to lead, judging from the multiplicity of questions you present. In general, a retained bullet, like any retained foreign body, is a source of problems, particularly infection. Occasionally, bullets are in such a place where it is more dangerous to try to remove them (like near the spine) than to leave them alone, but you need to seek professional help - a trauma surgeon - to determine this
