Not yet: It is very common when the examiner does an aggressive pap smear scraping that there may be some spotting. I it lasts beyond 3 days , then have your MD examine the area.

No: Spotting for a day or so is likely to be the result of scraping the cervix for the PAP smear. If the spotting lasts longer than 3-4 days, it would be prudent to consult your doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
