Anatomy: The vagina and rectum are right next to each other. The top of the rectum travels along the floor of the vagina. If you are suffering from constipation then your rectum may be bulging up into the vagina. This is called a rectocele. See an Obgyn for a pelvic exam. Try addressing the constipation with an over the counter treatment to see if this alleviates the problem as well.
