Not very well: Pepto Bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) can soothe an upset stomach and help treat some stomach infections but it doesnt help stomach gas that much. Simethicone products may help.

Peptobismol: Bismuth sub salicylate has been stated to treat many gastrointestinal disorders. It is pink and you can buy it over the counter. It does contain aspirin which is absorbed. It does not specifically treat gas but slows down your bowel. It stars it helps indigestion and heartburn. It works rapidly within 15-30 minutes. It should not be given to children. It also interferes with other drugs. Best.
