Trigger finger comes: And goes often before it is fully established a constant there different grades of trigger finger from mild crepitus without locking to a fully locked finger. We use a classification named after Quinnell. To grade these 1-5. Many with intermittent symptoms don't seek treatment once they understand they often will get treated if frequency of locking gets in the way of activity. See hcp to confirm
